Thanks for checking out my blog – really appreciate it.

Before I head in to what this blog is about, I just want to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE music! I can’t go anywhere without my sounds. I appreciate all different genres of music: Hip hop, Jazz, Blues, Soul, Rock, Pop, RnB, Motown, Rap, Classical, Country, House, Alternative, Reggae, Drum n Bass etc etc

I’m not musical by a long stretch, I can’t read music, I don’t play any instruments all I can do is sing in tune and that’s about it. But I like to think I was an A & R Executive in a past life, Shakespeare, Diane Warren’s secretly more talented long lost sister or somebody really famous in the music/film industry….as you do.

So here’s the thing, in my spare time I’ve started to write songs. However once I get 3/4 of the way through writing my songs I start to dislike the tune I’ve created and then totally lose all motivation for completing the darn piece. Seeing as I dig the lyrics I write but not so much the tunes, I figured it would be a waste to dispose of  what I now like to call ‘poetry for music’.
